I was raised in Cambridge, and returned following the birth of my first child in 2018. From a very early age, I was captivated by nature and would spend hours in the garden, fascinated by plants and wildlife.
My love of art also stems from childhood and although I have been through many different life phases (the studious schoolgirl, the rebellious student, the hard-working teacher and now the mother), one constant thread has been my genuine passion for creativity. It has both a grounding, yet uplifting effect.

Over the years, I have contemplated why I love painting so much and have concluded that it's freedom, a passport to wherever I please. A blank canvas can be both extremely liberating and rather daunting. A finished painting is such a reward and I am further rewarded if others also gain enjoyment from it.
I believe art can really enhance a home. I particularly love an eclectic collection, with paintings from different eras, of varying styles and sizes. A room like this can tell such a story.
